We try to steal away at least once a week…even if just for an hour to have time just Nathan and I. Today I am thankful that even with all that needs to be done for the upcoming holiday we are able to set time aside for one another.

Some of the best advice we have been given in our marriage is to have a date night once a week. When Em was a baby it was fajita rita Monday at Chili’s and she came right along with us! Once we found ourselves out-numbered we had at-home dates after all the littles were all in bed. Now that they’re a little older it’s a bit easier to get out. I am so thankful for this guy I get to do life with and time to spend with him in the chaos of this crazy busy, awesome life!
