I just got a call from my mom a little while ago. She is out of surgery and doing great! Phew! That is SUCH good news! I know the next few weeks will be a challenge with recovery and physical therapy, but it was such an answer to prayer to talk to her and that everything went well with her procedure. She’s excited for me to bring her a Diet Coke this evening ;). I am so happy to oblige!
It’s hard to believe that November is over already! Here we are getting into the swing of the Christmas season and while I’m excited to celebrate the Good News of Jesus birth, I’m a little sad that my favorite month is coming to a close. It’s always bittersweet for me to pack away (ALL of) the leaves and pumpkins and pull out the Christmas decor. But, the twinkle of the Christmas lights is so pretty and reminds me of the true Light of the world we are so grateful for.
Thank you friends for journeying with me this Thanksgiving month. May we find ourselves taking time each and everyday to thank our great God for His many blessings.
