I came across this picture in our toy closet the other day when I was putting a game away and it stopped me in my tracks.  Max drew it several years ago for a book report at school based on the book “The Tale of Three Trees“.  I cry every single time I read it…and every time Max says it’s his favorite book.  I love reading it at Christmastime.  If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it as you prepare Him room this Christmas season!

I see my own story when I read this book.  So much of my life I would never have chosen.  But I would never trade any of it for anything in the world.  I am so grateful that God’s plans for us are immeasurably more than we could ever ask for imagine!
