Tonight ended the fall semester of the eating and body image Bible Study that I️ help a dear friend of mine lead called “Transformed”. We closed by having some of the elders of our church come and they graciously anointed each woman with oil and prayed over them for healing body, soul and mind. At the end they anointed us as leaders and prayed for us as well. It is so amazing what God does through prayer offered in faith. He wants us to come to Him and cast our cares upon Him for He cares for us. Today I️ am so thankful for our good, good Father who always answers with His transforming work.

The Prayer of Faith

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. James 5:13-15
