Day 7 – Room to Roam

One of the biggest reasons we sought to either move or add onto our previous home was more space. We literally used every.square.inch of our old house. Every closet, cabinet and drawer were at or above capacity. When God opened the door for this home we knew it was bigger, but the layout is nearly perfect for our family.

Another selling feature is my husband’s {insert angels singing} pole barn. He is SO happy to finally have a barn for all of his man stuff. This evening he and the boys are burning brush and doing fall cleanup. Having twice the yard and woods all around also gives us a little more room to breathe.

With construction prices at near all-time highs (at least in our lifetime) we never could have afforded to build this house with all of its square footage and amenities. As I’ve said, it was worth the wait for God to lead us to it. We are so grateful that His fingerprints are all over it and He is still revealing them to us.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
