I found myself emotional this morning for so many reasons and then the song ‘Buy Dirt’ came on the radio and there came the water works. Have mercy….but more about that later. This season has been one of so much change for our family. Good change. Change that God has had in the works for a very long time. Really it’s been a year and a half of change for me personally and I am thankful for time. Finally, some time to process that change because change isn’t easy.

Many who know me know that November is a month of remembering incredible joy and a month of remembering deep, deep sorrow and pain. But in all of it God has given me gratitude and grace upon grace. This morning through His Word His love poured upon my weary soul and gave such peace, peace in the madness and chaos of it all.

So friends, I wonder…what makes you grateful? Is it something one might not expect? Take some time, reflect, and truly thank the Giver of every good and perfect gift…even the ones in disguise. Peace, love and joy will abound…grace upon grace!

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.^{. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24}
