Day 14- One – on – One Time

I was blessed to spend some one-on-one time with our son, Maxwell, today. I took him to open a savings account at our local bank to deposit the money he made from his summer jobs. Max has a great work ethic and is very motivated to save. It was a really fun day teaching him about banks and how the process works. We also spent some time getting him ready to go hunting tomorrow with my dad.

God is so good to have chosen us to be the parents of these kiddos. They are so wonderfully made…immeasurably more than we could have asked or imagined. Raising them in the way of the Lord is important to us so today I am thankful for the teaching moments Max and I had today and his sweet, grateful heart when he said, “Thanks, mom!”

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
