Day 24- Miss Pam

Growing up I can remember my mom getting up super early on Sunday mornings to get my sister and I ready, herself ready, dinner going and she always put her makeup on flawlessly in the car. We always made it to church on time somehow. I decided early in our marriage to have a simple Sunday lunch because Sunday is my Sabbath rest day. So Sunday lunch for us is either at a restaurant or something simple like soup and sandwiches. But today my wonderful, dear mentor, Miss Pam as our kids call her, surprised us at church with a wonderful meal! She is such a blessing to us. It has been such a gift to learn from Pam. She is one of the most beautiful examples to me of what it means to be a Titus 2 woman. I am so grateful for her impact on my life.

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Titus 2:3-5
