Days 18 & 19- Loved

This November has been very different than others.  All of my days seem to be running together.  Like today…I was awake until the wee hours of the morning…in the ER.  Yuck!  My blood pressure, though it’s always been perfect in the past, was sky high yesterday.  After much rearranging of schedules for children we headed to the hospital shortly after 6 pm and didn’t leave until over 6 hours later.

The doctors did a total workup and with everything short of the stress test, my heart is ok.  Thank you, Lord!  Pain can make blood pressure rise so that is what is most likely the culprit.  I am now home and resting and have an at-home cuff to monitor it.

In the mean time, we have experienced so much love from others.  I am so grateful that God has poured out his love on us from family and friends.  My husband told me today how loved I am…and I truly felt it.  Thank you, Lord Jesus, that I am loved by you.

For this reason I kneel before the Father,  from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  Ephesians 3:14-19
