Our sweet little Jackson has been dealing with belly pain for several months.  It has been so hard as a mommy to see him struggle.  We have narrowed down the pain seemingly to be caused by gluten, and as of last night, dairy seems to be a trigger.  I am so grateful that I truly can understand what he is going through and how he feels, as much as it tears my heart out.  It really puts into perspective one of my favorite verses.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4
