Day 29 – Sweet Somethings

Wrestling with fatigue is a constant battle with Fibromyalgia.  Today I had take some time to rest for a little while and during that time my husband called.  I missed it, but he left a very sweet message just to say ‘I love you”.  He does this often but we have been so busy at work that I didn’t really expect it.  It was a pleasant surprise.  Today I am grateful that my husband expresses his love both in word and deed.  Words can fall flat when not followed up by action and on the flip side, saying ‘I love you’ is important…something he has taught me.  While to some it might not seem like a big deal, to me it was such a sweet blessing today.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  1 Peter 4:8

  1. My fiancée taught the children in her NGO to say “I love you” every day. Many months down the road, all of them have cultivated the habit to say it even at home. And all I can share is that this simple act of a child saying “I love you” has saved a lot of families from the brink of divorce. ☺️

Praise God! And indeed we much cultivate the habit of loving one another just as how the Lord loves us!
