Day 8- Those who CAN do teach

I was at Jackson’s school this morning getting ready to make some copies for the PTC and I ran into one of our favorite teachers.  Em had her for first grade and Max for Kindergarten.  She saw me and said Were your ears burning?  I was just thinking about your family this weekend and I miss you and your kids!  I wish you would have more!   I told her not to retire anytime soon because we never know…as Nathan says…maybe God will send us one in a basket!?  😉

We have some of the BEST teachers and staff EVER in our school district…in every school and every grade level.  What I love is that they see our children for who God made them to be and celebrate their individuality and do their absolute best to teach them however they learn best.  I am so thankful for their dedication to teaching and loving our children.  It is an absolute gift and they share it with our children faithfully and (seemingly) tirelessly day in and day out.  I am so grateful for the blessings these kind, caring and compassionate individuals are to us and to so many families.  I’ve heard it say that people who can’t ‘do’ teach…I beg to differ!  They are changing the world with each child they pour into each and everyday!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the LORD Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Colossians 3:17
