Day 2- Equipped

This past summer my sister (and best friend) had our first precious niece, Reagan Julie.  Now that she is back to work I spend most days with Reagan as my little sidekick.  Thankfully she is a good sport…literally as she has spent a lot of time as a bleacher baby at sporting events this fall.  I am so thankful that not only could I spend time with my babies, but now my sister’s as well.  And as many of you know…I owe her a LOT of babysitting over the past 12 years!  Reagan is such a joy!  And it is so fun to see our kiddos loving on her.

Everyday is a balancing act.  Like most moms I am juggling laundry, lunches, work, ministry, cooking, feedings and nap times along with homework and other activities all the while dealing with the health stuff.  Somehow God works it all out and He helps me take it one day at a time.  These past several weeks have shown me that I can truly do all things through Christ who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13).

I’ve heard it said…God doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called.   I couldn’t agree more!
