Day 14- Flexibility

fullsizerender-64Well, my little buddy has strep throat.  The good news is, we got some antibiotics into him…the bad news (which he rather liked) is that he will have to stay home from school another day.  While I am feverishly praying that no one else gets this as we’ve already battled the viral illnesses going around, he is watching umpteen episodes of Mighty Machines wishing he could go outside and play with his older brother and sister.

As I add up the days that I’ve been home already this school year with sick kiddos, I am so thankful that I have an extremely flexible schedule that centers around them, and a “boss” that loves my kiddos just as much as I do…because he’s their dad.  I am thankful that God provides health insurance through our small business as well as excellent doctors and nurses to care for our family.  He knows what we need and He always faithfully provides.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?  Romans 8:32
