It only happens once in a while and this year Christmas is on SUNDAY! It is one of my favorite things! I mean, where else would I want to be on Christmas but at church celebrating this GLORIOUS day!? Can you tell I’m a little excited? This morning before we open a single gift we are headed to church as a family to glorify God for the BEST gift of all…Jesus!
Many people are baffled that we aren’t “letting” our children have their presents before we go to church. We actually decided as a family that putting Jesus first was what we wanted to do! He’s the whole reason for any of this and we cannot wait to go and praise Him for being our Light and Salvation…the King of Kings…our Prince of Peace…and TODAY we celebrate and rejoice in Him for His hope, peace, joy and the wonders of His love! JESUS, born on this day, is of course my FAVORITE thing about Christmas because it’s ALL about HIM! MERRY CHRISTMAS my dear friends and Happy Birthday, Jesus!
