It’s no secret that my health is a real pain…literally. It makes me so mad sometimes that I can’t do everything that I want to. Y’all know I struggle with just being. Anyway, I’ve had to make some decisions recently that have been good, but hard at the same time.
One of the changes has to do with my position at Alpha Family Services of Greenville. The long commute I was making each week to be the Staff Accountant was so hard on my body. Like Gideon, I laid a fleece before the Lord and it was clear I needed to be done with my weekly commitment. The good thing is that a volunteer position for Treasurer was also open on the Board of Directors. With much prayer and consideration the Lord led me to take on that role and train someone else on our staff to do the accounting role.
Today I visited the office and I have to much peace about where God has me. I am so thankful to still be involved with such an amazing organization that I am so passionate about.

and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:1
