After braving the icy roads to go to church this morning…which was certainly well worth the trip…we have decided it’s a great afternoon to get in our comfy clothes and watch movies.  I am hoping for “It’s a Wonderful Life” at some point today…one of my favorite holiday classics.  It reminds me of one of our family’s favorite books…”The Tale of Three Trees”.  The story is about how three trees have dreams for themselves that don’t exactly turn out as they plan…in actuality…they turn out better because of Jesus.  I can relate.  He has a miraculous way of making our lives immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.  It certainly is a wonderful life!

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.  Ephesians 3:20-21
