Of all the countless reasons I love my husband, this one is by far my favorite.  Nathan has tangibly shown me what it means to love like Christ.  He has been the hands and feet of Jesus when I didn’t deserve it…when any other man would’ve turned his back and walked away.  And while he doesn’t always do it perfectly, he is patient and kind…he keeps no record of wrongs.  He has faithfully been here when there has been more sickness than health.  I believe God made him for me and I am so grateful to do life with this man.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  1 Corinthians 13:4-7
