Cooking healthy lean, green meals can be overwhelming…especially when just starting out on your health journey. One of the things that helped me was to use the Optavia Food Guide to alter my regular recipes into healthier versions. I will post our family’s favorite recipes and fueling hacks as a guide to help others do the same.
*6 oz cooked Ground Chicken (1 leaner) seasoned with 1 tsp. Poultry Seasoning and 1/8 tsp. Salt and Pepper sautéed in 1/2 tsp. Olive Oil (3 condiments and 1/2 healthy fat)
*1/2 cup sliced White Mushrooms (1 green) sautéed in 1/2 tsp. Olive Oil (1/2 healthy fat) and
*Sprinkled with 1 Oz Swiss Shredded Cheese (1 healthy fat)
*Served on 1 cup Bib Lettuce (1 Green) with
* 1/2 cup Steamed Broccoli Florettes (1 Green)
