Sometimes all I need is a good idea to get me started on something and then I can run with it. Not being super crafty or creative, I rely on those who are to offer inspiration. Last night I went with some of my dear friends to a painting excursion and we had a blast! Each painting was essentially the same but all so different based on each person’s own unique creative touch. And today my sister and I got a jump start on holiday gifts and made cinnamon ornaments. My house smells full of the holidays…a perfect way to spend Thanksgiving-Eve! Emalynn spent the afternoon with her Grandma and made apple pie and set the table to get ready for our celebration dinner tomorrow. I’ve spent many an afternoons with her to learn and it is so wonderful that Em is able to do that with her Grandma. These are things we will never forget. Today I am thankful that we all have our own unique God-given gifts and abilities that we can share with one another and have fun doing it. I love that we can all learn from one another all the while appreciating our differences and grow closer while doing so.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
