Fourteen years ago the day was one just like this…beautiful, warm and sunny for the beginning of November. It was a day I will never forget because I became Mrs. Nathan Benham. This man, I love him so. He has the most amazing ability to love me even though I don’t deserve it. He also has the most amazing ability to drive me up the wall…in fact he did that day because he was as cool as a cucumber and I was…well…I was uptight…kind of like…You’re late! …Come on! Quit watching the Michigan/Michigan State game…Hello!? We’re getting married! I have to say that I all too often have these “Elsa” moments as my sister calls them. The beauty is…he loves me anyway. And sometimes…well, most of the time…I think he likes to get me all riled up because ultimately I end up laughing hysterically.
I love how we’re a perfect pair. God made him just for me, and He made me just for him.
We just fit…even though he is over a foot taller than I am. He calls me his rib…which always cracks me up. Today I am thankful that this man unconditionally and graciously loves me and I am honored to be his wife.
