This was my view today. We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning which made us thankful we have snow tires (but of course), a snow blower that Daddy pulled out of the shed last night, and snow pants for the whole family. We love snow. Looking out into the woods with everything covered in a bright, fresh blanket of a gazillion tiny white crystals is the most gorgeous sight. Then…it’s time to go play in it! The kids had a blast sledding today and I stepped out long enough to get a great photo for our Christmas Card. Now, we are nestled around the fire all cozy and comfy.
Many people don’t really like the snow, but we appreciate all of the seasons here in Michigan…even when the weather doesn’t quite line up with the calendar. We are thankful to our amazing God and His beautiful creation He gives us to enjoy every day of the year. Today we are thankful because the snow reminds us of God’s promise that through the blood of Jesus He has washed our sins white as snow.
