Day #15- Kid at Heart

Twenty-five years ago my favorite movie was released...The Little Mermaid.  Today my kiddos snuggled up with me under the warmest blanket in the world (that I’ve had since I was a little girl) and watched Ariel, even my boys!  I am thankful for these moments because as I said yesterday, this time goes way too quickly.  When preparing for Halloween this year I told Emalynn my idea for her to dress up as Princess Elsa from the movie Frozen, and do you know what she said?  Don’t you think I’ve graduated from princesses?  Um, NO!  I haven’t even graduated from princesses. WHAT is going ON!?  She’s 9!?  That’s how old I was when Ariel came out!  It’s days like this that make me so thankful for the child-like heart inside of all of us…no matter what our age.

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.  And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 18:2-3
