I know that I am not the only parent who with every fiber in their body resists the temptation to roll their eyes while in their mind are screaming “NOT AGAIN!” after their children spot the Golden Arches from a considerable distance and ask to go there.  McD’s is not the most healthy choice…well, for what our kids order anyway…I agree but it is quick, affordable, convenient and it really makes their day..especially when there is a play place involved (again…EW I scream in my mind).   Today we tried to talk them into anything else but “Old McDonalds” as Jackson affectionately calls it (tied to the his favorite song about the farm of course) was THE place they wanted to go for lunch… “Okay, okay…” We were even able to bring Em’s BFF along…who has been ill with pneumonia and God has healed her…we missed her so!  I am grateful for time spent as a family today…no matter where it was!
