When we found out at 32 weeks pregnant that Maxwell was a boy…I was in shock! You would have thought Nathan just won the super bowl…yelling in victory with his arms straight up in the air. I on the other hand asked the ultrasound technician over and over again… “Are you sure!?” Finally she responded with “Yes! See those? Those…are testicles.” Yikes! Me? The mother of a boy? I have to admit…I…was scared. What would I do with a boy? I’m so…girly! The second of our crew, Max introduced me to everything capital B-O-Y and he absolutely captured my heart right from the start…and pretty much everyone else’s he comes in contact with. He is dashingly handsome…always has been. A bit serious in nature and not much of a morning person…can’t imagine where he gets that from….yet in all his rough and tumbleness he also loves so genuinely…just like someone else I know. Last night he said “Mama, you should be proud! You are the best mom in the whole wide world. Your food is the best! Thank you!” We proceeded to do a puzzle and snuggle while watching a movie until bedtime.
A lot of love comes from this sweet little guy. I praise and thank God for His goodness to pour such joy into our lives through Maxwell Fernando.
