Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday…and November…my favorite month.  Fall is a bittersweet time for me.  Many wonderful…and many difficult things have happened in my life this time of year.  But even in the difficult God has brought abundant blessing.  So today I begin Thirty Days of Thankful.

Today I am thankful for God’s amazing, fathomless grace in my life.  He has had His hand upon me my entire existence.  I was fatherless and God gave me an earthly father…even before I could have known it!  I was adopted into a family who has loved me, accepted me and taken me in as their own from the moment they met me.  I was also adopted into God’s family through the precious blood of Jesus.  I am a daughter of the King!

November is National Adoption Month and I can think of no better way than to kick start Thirty Days of Thankful than to shout my gratitude for the grace of God in BOTH of my adoptions.  Thank you Lord Jesus.  I am Yours, and You are mine.
